In this little guide we will look at the capital city of Sweden, Stockholm. Places to visit there make a great deal for tourists, although nobody would even think that there might be something interesting in this city. One of the city"s nice points is Kungliga Slottet, a Renassaince royal castle, opened for visitors when the king is away. It is located in Gamla Stan, the old town. The king usually lives in another castle, Drottingholm. Stadshuset, the town hall built in 1923, is another landmark of the city. The most recognizable part of it is a 106-meter high tower. On the top of it there is a vantage point. All in all, there are approximately 200 museums here. However, there are many more worth seeing buildings in Stockholm. Places to visit within the city area are worth seeing and will stay in your mind forever.
